Application for QA Inspection

All Inspection must be requested by Fax / E-Mail / Online Application latest 4 Weeks prior to Cargo Ready Date (CRD). The CEI QC Department will confirm the inspection by keeping the proposal or new date arranged by "First Come First Serve" order.

Remarks:

• First inspection charges will be paid by CEI.
• If the inspection cannot be carried out at the confirmed date due to suppliers faults (e.g. insufficient quantity, packing or wrong inspection date/address etc.), then supplier must bear inspection charges.
• If inspection is failed and re-inspection is necessary, then supplier must bear re-inspection charges.
• The re-inspection charge is calculated as below:

  Reinspection charge: 1.37% of total order value	Reinspection charge: 2.25% of total order value
  For example: If your product price is 5.0 USD/pcs and the shipment quantity is 1000 pcs, then the total value is 5000 USD. If the inspection of this order is Pending/Failed and Re-Inspection is needed, then CEI will charge the supplier 1.37% x 5000 USD = 68.5 USD re-inspection fee.	For example: If your product price is 5.0 USD/pcs and the shipment quantity is 1000 pcs, then the total value is 5000 USD. If the inspection of this order is Pending/Failed and Re-Inspection is needed, then CEI will charge the supplier 2.25% x 5000 USD = 112.5 USD re-inspection fee.

  
  

  NOTE: Flight ticket, long distance bus ticket and hotel fee will be added eventually if inspector has to use those transportations to reach factory in remote location.

• In case supplier wants to postpone the inspection date, CEI-QA has to be informed latest 1 day before the inspection date between 09:00 - 18:00.
• Any costs occurring to a shipment delay due to either a late inspection advice or a postponed inspection by the supplier or factory, must be borne by the supplier/factory.
